Celebrate Life: Honoring Cancer Survivors and Caregivers Across Connecticut

Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute is hosting a statewide Celebrate Life event to celebrate the strength, resilience and hope of cancer survivors and their caregivers.
The event will take place on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at various locations.
This special occasion will feature a variety of engaging activities, refreshments and informative presentations. Attendees will also have the opportunity find out more about the Stronger Together program and hear inspiring testimonials.

“Celebrate Life is a meaningful tribute to the perseverance of cancer survivors and the compassion of those who care for them,” said Andrew Salner, MD, medical director of the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at Hartford Hospital. “It’s a chance to share stories, strengthen connections, and celebrate the hope and support that help individuals navigate their cancer journey.”

Cancer survivors, their caregivers, and family members are encouraged to attend.
