More than 800 cancer survivors and their loved ones attended Cancer Survivors Day at Backus on Saturday, Oct. 3. WFSB-3 weatherman and entertainer Scot Haney was the keynote speaker. Mr. Haney also spent time visiting cancer patients and Backus staff on the oncology unit of the hospital.
