Nutrition focus of Backus seminar
PrintNORWICH - The William W. Backus Hospital will host a seminar on how to evaluate all the conflicting nutrition and diet information on Thursday, July 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the hospital's entry level conference rooms.
Mary Beth Dahlstrom Green, a registered dietitian in the Backus Food and Nutrition Department, will present "Navigating Nutrition Nonsense." Discussion will include how to evaluate nutrition and diet information; how nutrition misinformation can hurt you and your wallet; why people sell diets or products that don't work; and good sources of information about nutrition and diet.
