Backus Outpatient Care Center Backus Hospital understands that patients appreciate convenience when they need to have their blood drawn. That’s why we opened a new Blood Drawing Station, six days a week, in the Backus Outpatient Care Center at 111 Salem Turnpike, Norwich. If you're following doctor's orders to have your blood drawn, you now have the option of this new site at the former Ames plaza, three locations in the Norwichtown area, and additional Drawing Stations in Colchester, Montville and Jewett City. This recently opened Blood Drawing Station offers easy, front-door access, generous parking and is located on the SEAT bus route. |
Upon leaving Backus Hospital, turn left onto Lafayette Street. At the first light, take a left onto Washington Street.
At the next traffic light, turn left onto the Route 2-32 connector.
Take exit 28S onto I-395 South. Take exit 80 from 395.
At the base of the exit turn left onto Route 82. Proceed 0.2 of a mile and turn left into Great Plain Plaza (near McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts).
The Backus Outpatient Care Center is in the center of the plaza, adjacent to Town Fair Tire.
