Backus/Madonna Place partner on parenting program

NORWICH –To help expectant mothers and fathers learn more about realistic expectations and positive parenting techniques, The William W. Backus Hospital and the Madonna Place are offering the Nurturing Program for Prenatal Families.

The free, 10-week program includes dinner and will be held Thursdays, May 17 to July 19, from
5:30 -7:30 p.m. in the Backus Birthing Center Teaching room.

Registration is required. Call Ali Coley at 889-8331, ext. 2598 to register or for more information.

Participants will learn how their family dynamics will change when the baby is born, bonding techniques, how to raise a healthy child and other positive parenting techniques.
