Embodied Dreamwork

NORWICH – The William W. Backus Hospital’s Center for Healthcare Integration (CHI) will offer “Embodied Dreamwork; Exploring Dreams for Growth and Healing,” on Saturday, May 19, and Sunday, May 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Backus Outpatient Care Center on Salem Turnpike.

The interactive workshop will include case studies, film, and group work with dreams. Instructors are, Jill Fischer, Jungian Psychotherapist and international teacher of dream exploration and Martha Briggs, a Licensed Acupuncturist, who traveled to China in 2006 to present this revolutionary work and further their study with other pioneers in the field.

CHI Coordinator Amy Dunion said “dreamwork” offers an opportunity to become aware of feelings and information in our minds that we have either suppressed or are not yet aware of, supporting significant personal growth as well as physical and emotional health.

There is a $200 fee for this program and registration is required. Call CHI at 889-8331 ext 2483 for more information.
