Eat sundaes, help Backus cancer patients

This Mother’s Day, join Buttonwood Farm Ice Cream in Griswold to raise money for cancer care at Backus Hospital.

Every sundae purchased on Sunday, May 13 will be more than a special treat.

“We will be donating all proceeds from every sundae purchased to Cancer Care Services at Backus Hospital,” said owners Kim and Duane Button. “We hope you join us in our support of a worthy cause.”

“We are inspired by, and truly grateful for, Mr. and Mrs. Button's generous commitment to raise community awareness and support for cancer care,” said Lee McLallen, Associate Director, Annual Giving at the Backus Foundation.

Buttonwood Farm, famous for its homemade ice cream, is on Route 165 near the intersection of Route 201 in Griswold.
