Backus kicks off monthly Woman to Woman series

Nearly 100 people attended the first Woman to Woman health event, "All About Osteoporosis," on Sept. 13. Socorro Vargas, MD, was the presenter. The next event in the series will be "Snoring and Sleep Apnea: Be on the Alert," presented by Olimpia Radu, MD, on Oct. 11 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in the Backus Hospital entry level conference rooms. The program is free, but registration is requested. Call 823-6313 to register or for more information. The series will be held the second Thursday of each month through July 2008.
