- 19 new Same Day Surgery bays, large enough for family visitation.
- Four new consultation rooms.
- Four additional recovery chairs and an isolation room.
Two floors in the existing E-wing have been completely reconstructed.
Units now include the most up-to-date technology, safety and design features:

- Private rooms with private bathrooms.
- A centrally located nursing station and second nursing center if required to accommodate shifts in patient volume and clinical needs.
- Private space for doctor/patient/family consultation.
With the BackusCare project, our Hospital is continuing to offer the most powerful tools in the fight against cancer:

real-time, the exact position of tumors and direct radiation treatment with greater precision.
- A 2,500-square-foot expansion of the Cancer Center to accommodate this new technology and allow for larger simulation and treatment planning areas.
