New Backus health center expands imaging services

MONTVILLE – The Montville Backus Health Center Tuesday began offering
expanded diagnostic imaging services at its new location at 80 Norwich-New
London Turnpike in Uncasville.
In addition to walk-in X-ray services, the health center launched ultrasound and bone density scans on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
Digital mammography will be offered beginning Wednesday, Oct. 13.
The new facility features more space, expanded hours including Saturdays, and additional parking. In addition to diagnostic imaging, the health center offers primary care, urgent care and lab.
