Learn about the hospitalist trend at Backus
PrintMay 30, 2008 - The next “Woman to Woman” program at The William W. Backus Hospital will be “Who is Taking Care of You at the Hospital… Hospitalists!,” on Thursday, June 12 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the hospital entry level conference rooms.
Participants will learn more about the Hospitalist trend, presented by Jennifer Bellino, MD, Chief of the Hospitalist program at Backus. These specially trained physicians work around-the-clock to provide in-patient care, communicating with patients’ doctors about treatment and helping to make appropriate arrangements when patients are discharged.
The program is free but registration is requested by calling 823-6313. Both women and men are encouraged to attend.
