Backus to hold program on good nutrition and cancer prevention

NORWICH - Learn about the importance of good nutrition for cancer survival and prevention with the nationally known Cancer Project's free cooking series, Food for Life, at The William W. Backus Hospital.
The four-class series, which will offer in-class cooking demonstrations and food samples, includes: Fueling up on Low-Fat Foods on Jan. 15; Favoring Fiber on Jan. 29; Discovering Dairy Alternatives on Feb. 5; and Replacing Meat on Feb. 19.
All classes will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the hospital's entry level conference
rooms 2-3.
