PrintThe William W. Backus Hospital will host an emergency blood drive on Friday, August 29, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. in its entry level conference rooms.
The summer months historically are a difficult time for blood collection and this year is proving to be no different. Both local and national blood supplies of all types are at or near critical levels. To schedule a time to donate, call 889-8331, ext. 6381.
