Backus presents fibromyalgia lecture

NORWICH – The Backus Hospital Psychiatric Services Department’s monthly lecture will focus on diagnosis and treatment of fibromyalgia on Thursday, March 27, at 3 p.m. in the hospital’s entry level conference rooms.
Dr. Sandeep Varma, Medical Director of Rheumatology at the Backus Outpatient Care Center, will discuss fibromyalgia, a widespread chronic condition that causes pain and fatigue. The program is free and registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served.
