Dinner lecture series to focus on melanoma

May 30, 2008 – The next Cancer Services Dinner at Backus event will be Wednesday, June 11 from 5-7:30 p.m. in Backus Hospital’s entry level conference rooms 1, 2, 3. The topic is melanoma.
The program is free but registration is required by calling 823-6379.
The program includes a free dinner, panel discussion and presentations from three physicians on the Backus Medical Staff:

R. Douglas Tanksley, MD, a dermatologist, will discuss screening and prevention.

Dr. Mark E. Tramontozzi, MD, a general surgeon, will discuss surgical management.

Jie Yang, MD, an oncologist/hematologist, will discuss medical management of melanoma.
