Caring strategies for Alzheimer's caregivers
PrintNORWICH - Hear advice and learn about resources available to help caregivers cope with the challenges of Alzheimer's disease and dementia patients in "Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia: Strategies for Caregivers" on Thursday, Dec. 10, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in The William W. Backus Hospital's entry level conference rooms.
Presenters Cynthia Muncaster, an occupational therapist, Jennifer Beaupre, a speech therapist, and Mary Ann Duchene, a registered nurse - all from Backus Home Health Care - will discuss numerous techniques in working through frustrations that may come with caring for Alzheimer's and dementia patients.
