Frozen or Canned?

Is fresh really best? Well, it takes time for fresh produce to reach the market. You buy it and put it in your refrigerator where it may sit for days. You could be missing its peak nutritional value.

The produce chosen for freezing or canning is selected at its peak ripeness. Canned or frozen can be more nutritious than fresh. Contrary to popular opinion, most of the nutrients in canned products are retained.

However, it is important to check sodium contents before making the final cut. Canned vegetables can have high salt content.
