Learn more about foot pain and other foot complaints on Thursday, June 11, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in The William W. Backus Hospital's entry level conference rooms.

Dr. Eric Levine, a podiatrist on the Backus Medical Staff, will talk about what people can do ahead of time to avoid pain, which over-the-counter remedies might help and when to see a podiatrist. He'll also discuss how to treat a sprained or twisted ankle, arthritic pain in the foot, and diabetes-related foot problems. The event is free but registration is requested by calling 823-6313.

E-mail your questions about foot pain to Dr. Levine at questions@americanpodiatry.com which he will answer at the event.
The event is last in the monthly lecture series "Speaking of Your Health: Head to Toe" sponsored by the Backus Nursing and Community Health Education Department.
