The Clinics at 107 Lafayette Street provide confidential HIV and Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) testing, as well as education and ongoing counseling.

Directions: Route 395 N, Exit 81E, onto Route East. At end of expressway, right at traffic light. Proceed to next traffic light. Take right onto Lafayette Street to fifth house on the left. Sign in front "107 Lafayette St. Clinics". Private parking in rear of building.

The Clinics consist of the following departments and staff:

HIV Education and Testing Site

Staffed by HIV Counselors and Educators, both certified by the Connecticut Department of Health. No charge for testing, however, appointment is necessary. Anonymous and confidential testing available.

Hours: Monday and Wednesday 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Tuesday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic

Consists of a Nurse Practitioner, Interviewer, Laboratory Technician, under the direction of a Medical Director (Infectious Disease Specialist). Tests done for major STD's, including HIV and Hepatitis C. No charge for testing, no appointment is necessary. No charge for most medications. Limit of 8 patients seen during each clinic session

Infectious Disease Clinic of Norwich

Staffed by a board certified infectious diseases specialist, two nurses, case manager, and secretary. Serving clients in eastern Connecticut who are HIV positive or have a diagnosis of Tuberculosis.

Hours: Monday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., Thursday 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
