Programs for expecting parents scheduled for April

The William W. Backus Hospital Birthing Center is holding two community events in April for expecting and new parents – a Birthing Center Open House and a Community Baby Shower.
The Birthing Center is holding an Open House on Tuesday, April 8, at 6:15 p.m. Tours of the Birthing Center will be available from 6:15-7 p.m. and will leave from the main lobby. Informational programs for expectant parents will be held in the Backus conference rooms at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served. This program is free but registration is required. Expectant parents are invited to a Community Baby Shower on Tuesday, April 15, from 1-6 p.m. in the Backus conference rooms. This fun-filled event will include information on the various local resources available for expectant parents, from prenatal yoga to infant safety. Door prizes will be raffled throughout the day, and food and refreshments will be available. This program is free and no registration is required. For more information call 425-3863.
