Learn to talk to your teen about the transition from girl to woman

NORWICH – The William W. Backus Hospital’s next Woman to Woman community education event will highlight the transition from girl to woman.

Mary Eslick, MD, a pediatrician on the Backus Medical Staff, will present the program, to be held Thursday, Feb. 14, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Backus entry level conference rooms.

The program is free but registration is required by calling 823-6313. The program is geared towards adults.

Parents will learn to talk to about puberty with their daughters, what types of changes to expect and how to handle them.
