Backus Hospital's Convenient Care is a division of the Emergency Department that treats a wide range of immediate but non-life threatening conditions such as orthopedic injuries (breaks, sprains, etc.), lacerations, and acute illnesses (flu or cold symptoms, for example). The goal of Convenient Care is to provide prompt, quality medical treatment for these conditions within the setting of the Emergency Department. Located within the Backus Hospital Emergency Department, Convenient Care is primarily staffed with physician assistants and advance practice nurse practitioners.
